This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how Feedback Guru (referred to hereafter as “we,” “us,” “our,” or “Feedback Guru”) handles personal information that (i) it collects directly from visitors of its website that provide information to it directly and (ii) that it receives from its clients in order to provide them with services (“Client-Owned Data”). When you use our website (www.feedback.guru), applications and services (referred to hereafter collectively as “Website”) you expressly consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Policy.

1. Use of Client-Data

In the process of providing services to its clients, Feedback Guru may receive and process end-user data from its clients that may include its client’s personally identifiable information (“Client-Owned Data”). Feedback Guru processes and utilizes Client-Owned Data solely for the purposes which it contracts with its Clients. Feedback Guru does not sell or share any Client-Owned Data. In the process of providing its services, Feedback Guru may disclose certain end-user identifiers (e.g. name and email address) to certain service providers (e.g. email service providers) solely to the extent necessary to provide its contractual services to its clients. Feedback Guru uses standard commercial practices in the collection and storage of Client-Owned Data and processes it in accordance with the client’s instructions. Feedback Guru’s clients bear sole responsibility in determining their legal basis and right to disclose any Client-Owned Data to Feedback Guru. For all intents and purposes, Feedback Guru is solely a “Service Provider” relating to Client-Owned Data and its clients are deemed the “Business” (as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA and similar laws).

2. Information Collected Directly by Feedback Guru

A. Collection of Personal Information

We do not automatically collect personal information when you browse the Website. We only collect personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, and credit card information when you specifically and knowingly provide it to us by registering to create an account, completing online forms, opting in to receive our newsletter and promotional offers, signing up for our services, or authorize a third-party to disclose your information to us. From time to time, we may collect personal information from third parties such as social networks, and advertising networks. We may make information collected through the Website available to affiliated brands and companies that are under common ownership or control as the Website, and other companies that provide functionality on the Website.

Retention and Deletion

All consumer information we acquire is retained, and then deleted following our standard business practices, contractual requirements and as may be required by applicable law. For up to seven (7) years.

Californians have the right to opt out of the sharing and sale of your personal information described above. You may opt out by following the instructions in the subsection below titled “Rights Under the CCPA For California Residents.”

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against California consumers because you exercise any of your rights under the CCPA. For example, we will not charge you a different price if you request that we disclose the personal information that we may have about you.

Financial Incentive

Feeback Guru does not have a financial incentive program and does not offer financial incentives to consumers regarding the collection, sale, sharing or retention of their personal information.

Rights Under the CCPA For California Residents

California consumers have the following rights under the CCPA:

  • The right to know the categories of personal information collected or disclosed about them; categories of sources from which the personal information was collected; the business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling or sharing their personal information; the categories of third parties to whom the information was disclosed; and the specific pieces of personal information collected about that consumer.
  • The right to know what personal information is sold or shared and to whom.
  • The right to access and/or receive a copy of the information being held about them in the preceding 12 months.
  • The right to request that a business correct any inaccurate personal information that the business has about them.
  • The right to request that a business delete any personal information about the consumer that the business collected from the consumer.
  • The right to limit the use and disclosure of their personal information.

Certain information may be exempt from such requests under applicable law. For example, we need certain types of information so that we can fulfill your orders or provide services to you and for compliance with applicable law. If you ask us to delete certain information, you may no longer be able to access or use certain functionality on the Website.
